Calibration

The Scale Shop offers testing and calibration services for all types of the weighing equipment.  This is conducted through our ISO 9001:2000 certification.  All testing facilities are traceable to national standards at National Weights & Measures Laboratory (NWML)

Using qualified engineers and our in-house testing facilities, calibrations and tolerances are in accordance with the Industries Calibration Code of Practice which are traceable to the appropriate national standards via Sandwell Trading Standards. 

All calibrations performed by us are externally inspected and accepted by our independent inspector before leaving our workshop.  This guarantees the accuracy and reliability of the test results and of your equipment, removing the risks of inaccurate weighing.

Our in-depth knowledge and understanding of weighing industry test requirements enables us to offer comprehensive technical support and advice with a rapid turnaround of certificates

Calibrations undertaken on suspended weighing devices include a proof test to comply with Health and Safety, a certificate will be issued to the customer (if required) - all at no extra cost.
